Subaru gave us something really beautifull at the Detroit Auto Show, the Subaru Legacy concept. Subaru said this Legacy has a special silver, called Ultimate Silver. This is how the new Subaru Legacy should look like. I’m sure that the new Legacy design will resemble a great lot this one because Subaru usually makes their production models really close to the concepts.

This is how the 2008 Car Sale looks. Believe me, it’s not a pretty site at all. It all went as low as it could, and believe me that’s pretty low. Only Subaru and Mini had an actual sale increase, check out the numbers:

Economic crisis SALE, everything must go. Automakers aren’t doing so great, I guess we all know that. People don’t want to bail them out etc…but that’s another story. This little story is about a big, big carmaker called FORD. Ford is one of the oldest carmakers around and it’s in trouble. Things are getting really bad in the car industry so they’re having a little garage sale crisis sale, and Volvo must be sold for 6 billion dollars. They will even give you a red bow on it if you buy and a nice little Christmas card.Fird bought Volvo back in 1999 for $6,4 billion dollars and they’re selling it for almost the same? that’s not good is it? Volvo has been struggling, laying off thousands of people and even asking the Swedish government for a bailout.

We all love Japanese engine right? I especially like those Honda revving four cylinder engines, but I love those V6, and it all ends at the V6. Not anymore, because Honda will build V8’s…in 2015. Basically they have to, because all major manufacturers have at least one V8 engine. Well Honda will be one of the big boys starting with 2015. You can do the math however you want, but I’m affraid that could be a bit to late for Honda, because that’s more than 6 years from now.
It’s all about style, at least that’s what I’m told when I ask about these 4 door coupes. A coupe is a car that has only 2 doors right? Well wrong, it seems it can have 4 doors as well. The first 4 door coupe I liked was the Vw Passat CC. It’s a lot better than the regular Passat, and a lot better looking than this Porsche Panamera. I mean look at it, it has a Porsche nose, and then it’s all wrong:it’s huge, it’s ugly and doesn’t tell anything about Porsche.

Although there were some rumors about scratching the Kappa platform, it looks like the Solstice will rise again as a 2009 model. This pictures were made at the production plant in Wilmington, Delaware. I’m not sure if this is going to be the real deal, or just a testing fleet, but I really like the hardtop.
