A few days ago I found a video that presented the new, or should I say the future BMW X5 M. We didn’t learn nothing from it, really it was simply pointless. I already knew that BMW was going to make a X5 M, all I wanted was to get some stats, but that didn’t happen. I guess BMW figured that out because they made a new video with the X6 M. The most powerful X6 yet. It will have a bi-turbo V8 M engine.

The biggest engine a X6 has until now is a 4.4 L V8 that produces 400 hp. The new engine will have somewhere close to 500 hp. To make things safe, the X6 will have all wheel drive, that will actually act like rear drive traction.

This is the new BMW X5 M. It has been just a rumor for the last weeks, but it seems BMW wants so make their M engineers to work hard this Christmas and finish the new BMW X5 M for the Detroit Auto Show. The new X5 M will be showcased at the Detroit Auto Show in January, there’s no other explanation for the launch of this official BMW video if they wouldn’t want customer awareness.

I don’t think BMW understands the word economical recession, because they sold 50% more M3’s than last year. This huge increase in sells is a result of the new 2008 M3. The new M3 has 3 body styles: coupe, 4 door and cabriolet. It really seems that european cars and especially BMW’s M division has a weird effect on people.

Ludwig Willisch, President of BMW M GmbH said: “The fact that our dealers were able to supply significantly more vehicles than the average of the last nine months even in such dramatic times for the world economy demonstrates the fascination and attraction which BMW M automobiles exercise on our customers”.

PS I bet Top Gear’s review helped a bit, but don’t tell BMW that.

It’s those Germans, they’re mad I tell you…They’re always up to somethings. First they made a really top of the line 7 Series that can read traffic signals, identify pedestrians, animals, keep a safe distance from other cars, predict crashes etc. Now they say they want to improve the Adaptive Headlight Control System. Adaptive Headlight Control System is nothing new, but the one BMW developed it’s of the chart on the cool wall.

Look at this beauty. This is the new BMW Z4, and this it’s new sexy back. It doesn’t even make you think about the old Z4, this design it’s simply perfect for a Z4. After BMW gave us a sneak preview of the new BMW Z4 hard top cabriolet.Those lines just make you think about a muscle car’s curves, just look at those “hips”.

This is it, this is the new 2010 BMW Z4. This baby will go in history as the first hardtop retractable roof Z4. This is the first picture of a Z4 without any camouflage on. What can I say? It looks the money, but I hate the fact that BMW’s really look alike. I mean the front really looks like a 7 Series BMW.

How can you not like these guys? One’s short, one’s old and the other one is slow. Season 12 episode 5 aired on Sunday in England. I’ve got my hands on it only today because yesterday was a national holiday so I took a little brake. James May took a boat for a drive, Hammond took a Ferrari Daytona, put those two together and you got a race.
