Spy Photos: New Mercedes CLS

The guys from Next Autos succeeded in photographing a mule of the next Mercedes CLS. It first was rumored that the new CLS model will be based on the S class platform, but those rumors were proven false. The new CLS will be based on the new E class platform. The four door coupe will also have the E class engines and specs. This mule featured in the pictures has a roofline completely undisguised.

This new generation of CLS will also have Mercedes’s new BlueHybrid powertrain optional. For the speed freaks, Mercedes has prepared a S400 engine and a AMG version of the CLS.
