The E class coupe is the coupe version of the E class sedan. The E class coupe with hardtop will be the CLK replacement. The hardtop will mentain it’s coupe name. The E class coupe will be based on the upcoming W212 E-Class platform. The four seater will have a combined design of the front end from the Class, CLS sides and an E class general design.

The E class coupe Black Series will only be a two seater with fixed roof with a role cage. The car will be lighter and lower, powered by a AMG 6.2 liter V8.The E class coupe is expected to be launched in 2010, followed by the Black Series in the same year.
