Volkswagen has unveiled a new roadster at the 2009 Detroit Auto show. This is the Volkswagen BlueSport. It’s basically a Audi TT with a Scirocco face in reverse. If the Audi TT has a longer front end, the BlueSport is the opposite, it has a shorter front end and a longer back end. Volkswagen want to prove that you can have a sport car with a small fuel consumption.

The Detroit Auto Show has started, Audi had a great start on the first day with the 2 cars launched, the Audi A7 and the all new Audi R8 V10. First we have to talk about the A7, or how they like to call it, the Sportback Concept. This is Audi’s answer to all those four door coupes out there. Some people tend to compare it with the Porsche Panamera, but that’s just silly, this Audi looks good while the Panamera is just a ugly 911 look alike.

Maybe it doesn’t make sense at first, but think about it. It doesn’t look like a stereotypical french car, at least not so much as Citroen makes their cars look like, and even the French said they wanted to make a car that even the Germans would like to buy. It looks great, but more important, it even drives great too. When I first saw this car I said it will be a hit, and I’m pretty much sure it will be a hit because it has all the right components: french design, air suspension, all the technical mambo jambo and a interior that the Germans wished they’ve made.

This is how the 2008 Car Sale looks. Believe me, it’s not a pretty site at all. It all went as low as it could, and believe me that’s pretty low. Only Subaru and Mini had an actual sale increase, check out the numbers:

These are the spy pictures of the new 2010 BMW 5 Series touring. I got a few months ago some pictures of the new 5 Series sedan and the new M5, it seems that the touring model was up next. The new 5 Series sedan will be available sometime late this year, while the touring model will only be available in 2010.
It sounds like BMW want to equip the top of the range 5 Series touring with the same V8 4.4 L engine that the X6 has. That will be almost as fast as the M5 touring. BMW will also introduce some new diesel and gas engines. And that’s not all, the new 5 Series will also have an optional 8 speed transmission.
Check out the spy pictures below:

A few days ago I found a video that presented the new, or should I say the future BMW X5 M. We didn’t learn nothing from it, really it was simply pointless. I already knew that BMW was going to make a X5 M, all I wanted was to get some stats, but that didn’t happen. I guess BMW figured that out because they made a new video with the X6 M. The most powerful X6 yet. It will have a bi-turbo V8 M engine.
The biggest engine a X6 has until now is a 4.4 L V8 that produces 400 hp. The new engine will have somewhere close to 500 hp. To make things safe, the X6 will have all wheel drive, that will actually act like rear drive traction.
Check out the video below:

This is how the new generation Polo will look like. Starting from this, Volkswagen will develop a GTI version that is supposed to blow every GTI’s fan mind. I like those letters, GTI has such a nice ring to it doesn’t it? Well Volkswagen thought that a Polo is a pretty unattractive car for those who really want some power from a small car. The Gti version will get a 1.4 TSI engine that will produce a little over 170 bhp. It will get from 0- 60 mph in 7 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. That not bad for a little car isn’t it?
Call me a sceptic, but won’t people want a Scirocco instead of a GTI Polo?
