Detroit not a fave anymore
It seems like car makers don’t want to spend their money on the Detroit Auto Show. Nissan follows Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Ferrari, Land Rover and Rolls Royce and announced that they won’t be presenting any cars at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. Nissan actually hasn’t anything new to present because they presented all their new designs at the LA Auto Show. All that remains is the new concept van named NV2500, but that’s not a very important car for them right now.
It seems that car manufactures don’t want to invest in these shows, because they could use them in other marketing promoting. Detroit isn’t what it used to be, hope things will pick up, because I would really want to have spme stories to cover.
