That’s right, I’ve said it, the new design really sucks. F1 cars are made to look good and perform exceptional. I like the fact that F1 is a fast sport, but I don’t think that if you will put a shorter wing on a F1, that will make it faster, there’s no chance believe me. The car you see in the picture above is the 2009 F1 car from BMW.

It seems that FIA wants things to get a bit less competitive, that’s why they went on this new radical ugly design. There’s basically a shelf where the wing should have been, and some kind of contraption in front. The only good thing is that the teams will use the new KERS system.
