2009 Detroit Auto Show: New Toyota Prius

This is the brand new Honda Insight Toyota Prius. Sorry sometimes I get these two confused, I’m not sure why, but I do. We all know the Toyota Prius, but what really interests us is the consumption ratio right? Well it gets a 50 mpg combined consumption ratio. It got a bigger 1.8 engine that provides you 98 polluting hp and with the hybrid system on the car has a total of 134 hp.

2009 Detroit Auto Show: Fisker Karma

Fisker Karma is the car of the moment. Everybody wants to have one, and why shouldn’t they? It’s gorgeous. Fisker really hit the jackpot with this one, they made a hybrid car that sits on 22″ alloy wheel and can hit 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and cruise gently at 125 mph. 2009 Detroit Auto Show: Lincoln MKS ecoboost

The Lincoln MKS gets a new V6 ecoboost engine. The first two models which got that engine were the Lincoln MKT and the Flex CUV. 2009 Detroit Auto Show:Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S

Try saying that 3 times really quick. This is the Quattroporte that should blow your mind or twist your tongue. Maserati said that this Maserati will be another milestone in the sport luxury sedan segment. I think this car doesn’t really have any use. It only has 8 hp more than the regular model, and those 433 hp come at 7000 rpm while the rev limiter is set at 7200 rpm.

2009 Detroit Auto Show: Audi R8 V10

Audi R8 is the super sport version of any Audi. It’s almost one of the cheapest supercars out there. Well Audi kinda ruined that, because the new V10 has a pretty nifty price tag of 142.000 euros. The good thing is that for that money you get a first car that has all it’s light systems as LED lights: fog lights, day lights, low beam lights, high beam lights, back lights and even the turn signals.

2009 Detroit Auto Show: Subaru Legacy Concept

Subaru gave us something really beautifull at the Detroit Auto Show, the Subaru Legacy concept. Subaru said this Legacy has a special silver, called Ultimate Silver. This is how the new Subaru Legacy should look like. I’m sure that the new Legacy design will resemble a great lot this one because Subaru usually makes their production models really close to the concepts.

2009 Detroit Auto Show: new Mercedes E Class

Mercedes has launched the new 2010 Mercedes E Class, and boy it looks good. The odd thing about this car is the fact that it doesn’t really look like a Mercedes. I know it has a Mercedes badge and everything, but it kinda looks ungerman right? The should have debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but it seems Mercedes wanted to make us a surprise, so surprise!
