Volkswagen has unveiled a new roadster at the 2009 Detroit Auto show. This is the Volkswagen BlueSport. It’s basically a Audi TT with a Scirocco face in reverse. If the Audi TT has a longer front end, the BlueSport is the opposite, it has a shorter front end and a longer back end. Volkswagen want to prove that you can have a sport car with a small fuel consumption.

The car has a 2.0 diesel engine that gives out 180 hp. The gear box used is a 6 gear double clutch transmission. It can reach 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds, with a 140 mph top speed.
